what to expect
A quick guide from your photographer.
I. Book the date.
Head over to the link (down below) and check your desired date, location, and type of session.
Once we have nailed down all the details, you'll receive a booking confirmation and a proposal (invoice + basic photography click-to-sign contract).
A booking fee of 30% is required at this point and locks in your date. All major credit cards accepted! The remaining balance is due the day before the session.
After that has been signed and payed, you will receive a questionnaire. This is where the planning gets fun and I learn how to personalize your session tailor it just for you!
II. Take photos.
The fun begins.
This is your time to relax and let me do all the work. There's no worry if you don't know how to stand or what to do with your hands. I guide all my clients through each step of the way.
During our session, you will find that I take a LOT of shots! I try various poses and composition with a wide range of variety.
This is to ensure I have the perfect gallery for you. During the session, a number of things will occur: blinking eyes, a blurred hand, sunlight glares, unflattering angles....the list goes on.
III. Deliver memories.
After the session, I go home and cull through all these images to carefully choose the best of the best before I edit. This is an important part of the process for me. I go through all the RAW images and select which ones are the very best to edit.
WITHIN 48 HOURS,
Your sneak peek will be delivered via social media. I can also e-mail the images if desired.
I will continue editing and working on your gallery in the following weeks. Once competed, I will send you your personal online gallery. This is where you will download your images.
I also provide complimentary social media images on your client portal. If your chosen package involves gift prints or a wall art framed print, this is where you will decide what images from the gallery you want me to send to the professional lab.
There are many reasons for a photograph, and with that, your needs are unique.
Whether you're celebrating an upcoming graduation or want to update your family portraits, there's always a reason for a photography session. Being able to look back on an image and remember how you felt in that moment, what your life was like...that's very special.
If you want a simple headshot for your new job, you won't need an hour long session. If your little boy is turning 1, you're going to want as many photos as possible. If you have a camera-shy husband who "just wants it over with", a mini session might be the way to go!
With that in mind, I offer options that you can choose from to best suit you.

Your images deserve to be displayed! That's why I work with a professional photo lab to bring you any wall art or picture product you could want. This is an easy to use store that I send to my clients. I also offer a discount to these in a portrait option. This is useful, especially if your chosen package option does not involve prints!
